Bonita Bingham Creech
Licensed Funeral Director
Bonita Bingham Creech is a licensed funeral director. She has worked at the funeral home for over 36 years, and does a little of everything within the business. She is a self-taught cosmetician and also oversees the maintenance and the housekeeping at the funeral home. She arranges the flowers and makes sure that everything is well-kept and in order for the families in need. Unless there is a pressing reason why she can’t attend, Clyde and she greet the families and attend every visitation. Prior to Creech Funeral Home, Bonita owned a dress shop, Hayloft, in downtown Middlesboro for eight years, and before that she taught school at KIPP as a substitute teacher. She loves helping family members create the funerals of their dreams for loved ones. In her free time she enjoys going to church and spending time with her family. She also loves showing her son, Jason’s, show horses.
Funeral Director and Embalmer
Bill Bisceglia is a licensed funeral director and also manages Creech Funeral Home. At the funeral home he is a jack of all trades, and spends his days meeting with families of the deceased, making funeral arrangements, and working visitations and funerals. He has worked at Creech Funeral Home since 1979. He is passionate about the industry and loves people and working with families in need. He jokingly admits that his granddaughter is his weakness, and in his free time he enjoys spending time at Norris Lake with his family.
Paul Connor Cawood, Jr.
Paul Connor Cawood is the grandson of Hobart Cawood, the original founder of Creech Funeral Home. After growing up in the funeral home business, Paul went on to own and operate several businesses in the Tri-State area. With his decades of valuable management experience, Paul’s duties at Creech include overseeing business operations. He intends to eventually earn his Kentucky funeral director and embalmer license.

Apprentice Funeral Director
Lucas Barton is an apprentice funeral director and embalmer at Creech Funeral Home. A 2015 graduate of Bell County High School, Lucas is currently enrolled in mortuary school. He has been at Creech Funeral Home since November of 2013 and credits his ability to bring comfort to people in their most difficult times as an asset in his current role. Lucas works directly with families during visitation and funerals, and often also works in the office answering phone calls and working with the database system. When not in the funeral home or at school, Lucas loves attending church and spending time with his family.
Licensed Funeral Director
Alonzo Miracle is a licensed funeral director, but these days focuses his time and efforts on being the resident “funeral home attendant.” He is widely recognized and known in the community, and greets everyone who visits Creech Funeral Home. Alonzo worked for the Pontiac Motor Division of General Motors and retired with 30 years of service. During a visitation, Alonzo greets families when they arrive and answers any questions that they may have to the best of his ability. He is also a minister who enjoys comforting, helping and encouraging people. He feels that his first hand experience with loss is beneficial because he has lost several loved ones and knows how the families feel. When he is not working, Alonzo enjoys spending time with his family and the people at church.
Jami Burkhart is the receptionist at Creech Funeral Homes. She maintains several front-office practices including working on the filing system, answering phones, taking messages and partaking in the database system duties. Previous to the funeral home, she worked as an office assistant and prior to that at a daycare facility. She enjoys interacting with the families at the funeral home and maintaining an organized workspace for herself and her colleagues. In her free time she loves spending time with her little girl and family.
